Meeting up happens a lot at a Cashflow 101 Club party. As there are a number of entrepreneurs there, and entrepreneurs have found out that by using each other’s skills they can farther their own businesses. Later on, by reciprocating, they can build a network of friends and allies for when they need favors. In essence, if you need something for your business, and haven’t been able to find it, then ask around at a Cashflow 101 party, and someone may not only know where to find what you are looking for, but may be able to tell you how to get a discount on the item or service.
Cashflow 101 parties are almost like mini-symposiums on economics and small business. As the interest is usually not only on playing the game, but also on building their own financial security, they are willing to trade tips, with an emphasis on trading tips; remember that if someone offers advice, listen well, and if you can reciprocate, do so. It’s not a mandatory; after all, some people tend to be new to the Cashflow party, and so have less to offer. In fact, some people love new people, as they like to encourage new blood.
But bear in mind that you get back as much as you put in. If you’re new, people realize that you’re there to learn, and will usually help you. But if you have been there a while, and are still acting new, then you will probably be treated like a pariah. The same applies if you don’t tend to get along with others. After all, a good number of those at the Cashflow party are businessmen and are there to help their business; if you are just asking questions and not fielding them, you aren’t worth the investment of their time.
Cashflow parties can be fun and educational; it’s what you make of it. You can do business or play games, or even both. But do make sure that you have fun…
